I have positioned myself on the path of opportunity. I expect much; therefore, I receive great things.</p>
<p>I welcome each day with open arms. I am ready to embrace success and the lessons that come with failure. Whether dressed in triumph or disguised in defeat, there is something great I can take out of every day.</p>
<p>Putting away the events of yesterday, I focus on today. Setting daily expectations compels me to live in the moment. I can enjoy the treasures of today instead of living my life reminiscing of the past or longing for the future.</p>
<p>While I anticipate a wonderful tomorrow, my daily expectations prevent me from overlooking the blessings of today. I am not thankful because I am blessed; I am blessed because I am grateful.</p>
<p>When I know what I want out of my day, I can make a plan of action that brings me closer to my goals. Anything is possible when I combine gratitude and hard work with clear expectations.</p>
<p>I focus on the positive aspects of every situation. Positive thinking sets me on the path of blessing. I think positively because what I believe in becomes my reality when I work for it.</p>
<p>Today, I align my actions with my expectations. I give my all to everything I do, knowing that my work will pay off.</p>

<p>Real peace of mind comes from the realization that being myself is good enough. There is no one I would rather be other than who I am. Understanding the many layers of my personality frees me from confusion about my identity.</p>
<p>There is no one else in the world that can do the things I can do. I abstain from imitating others because, when I imitate others, I cheat the world of my true talent. By being myself, I am fulfilling the plan set out for my own life.</p>
<p>As I accept myself, the walls of jealousy and disappointment come crashing down. In their place, I build confidence and self-assurance. I wrap myself with the garments of peace and stand before the mirror of positivity.</p>
<p>When I look at myself, I refrain from criticism. Instead, my inner language is coated with grace and encouragement. Standing in front of the mirror, I do nothing but build myself up.</p>
<p>I shift my view from the &#8220;what ifs&#8221; about my life and focus on the amazing reality that I am a part of. I delight in making new discoveries about myself every day.</p>
<p>Today, I am proud of who I am. I choose to embrace my reality and be myself, which is the best thing I can be.</p>

<a rel="external nofollow" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/14377754@N02/2795902332">Photo by hapal</a></span>Stress is everywhere, but I let it go. It leaves my mind and body in an effortless manner, and I feel calm and healthy. I let go of negative emotions, unpleasant thoughts, and unnecessary worries.</p>
<p>No amount of stress can affect me, make me feel bad, or remain in my body. I am healthy, strong, and calm. Stress does not bother me. It rolls off of me like water off a duck&#8217;s back. It is not able to stick to me or bring me down.</p>
<p>My mind is calm and serene. I have no fear. I have no worries. I have no concerns. Everything works out the way it is supposed to as long as I keep moving toward my goals. I have no reason to be afraid of the past, present, or future.</p>
<p>As I release stress, I feel good about myself and my future. Thinking about moving forward makes me happy. Change is growth, and growth is good.</p>
<p>I release any stress caused by or given to me by others. I let go of their thoughts, emotions, and problems, and enjoy peace and relaxation. They must solve their own difficulties. My job is to take care of me, and I do that job very well.</p>
<p>Today, I intend to let stress flow right through me, effortlessly leaving my body and mind.</p>
<p>Self-Reflection Questions:</p>
<p>1. How can I handle stressful situations better than I have in the past?<br />
2. What can I do to let stress pass through me, so I feel better?<br />
3. Why is it important to allow stress to leave my mind and body right away?</p>

When I am comfortable with the person I am, I allow others to feel at ease around me.</p>
<p>I have realistic expectations of my friends and myself. I accept others just the way they are, without judgment. In order to have meaningful friendships, I must first be a good friend myself. Then, in return, others respect me and accept me for who I am.</p>
<p>My positive attitude makes me a pleasure to be around. I guard my speech to ensure that it is free from judgment and negativity, and full of laughter. Time spent with me is refreshing and peaceful.</p>
<p>My friends talk to me about things of substance because they know I am trustworthy. I treat my relationships like a flower, nurturing them and giving them time to blossom.</p>
<p>I cultivate my friendships by seeking out my friends through phone calls and invitations to connect. Spending quality time together draws us closer and reaffirms our bonds.</p>
<p>I deserve to have meaningful relationships and enjoy the company of others. My friends and I need each other to share gifts and talents that are unique to each one of us. Meaningful relationships are a balance of give and take.</p>
<p>Today, I chose to strengthen my relationships by wrapping myself in positivity and practicing acceptance. I am confident in the person I am and I attract others by expressing my true heart.</p>
