Photo by tozofoto(very very slow)I am successful because I have the ability to focus on my goals. I am more than capable of concentrating solely on the task at hand. I can ignore nuisances that distract me from my work with ease.

There are many distractions on the road to my goal, but I overcome every single one of them by keeping my eyes on my prize. With the end result in mind, I train my mind to resist distractions. My determination makes it easy for me to stay focused.

I have authority over my thoughts. My mind goes only where I lead it. If I ever begin to consume myself with insignificant details, I think about why I do what I do. Thinking of the ‘why’ makes the ‘how’ easier to overcome.

There is nothing worth more to me than the sweet taste of victory; therefore, nothing can get in the way of my success. I prioritize my time wisely, because even those things that seem worthy of my attention can become distractions.

When the road gets tough, I am able to endure it by envisioning myself accomplishing my dreams. The end of the road is worth the sacrifice of the journey. I press on with courage knowing anything worth having has a price.

Today, I fix my lens to zoom in on what is most important. By staying the course with steadfast determination, I achieve success.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. How easily do I become distracted?
2. How can I improve my focus?
3. What goals do I work for?

Photo by jonathanrperkinsThere are two ways to look at every situation in life. I choose to focus on the brighter side of things, instead of the negative. I accessorize myself with a cheerful smile rather than a critical eye.

When I look at others, I try to see them the way they hope to be seen. Small nuisances in others’ personalities are easy for me to ignore. I focus on the good in others and overlook their imperfections.

I am refreshed when I sit down to do an inventory of my blessings. Looking at my family, health, and friends helps me realize how fortunate I am. The more I look for things to be appreciative about, the more I find.

Even on my worst day, I consider myself fortunate because my life is filled with things money cannot buy. The simple things in life are what make my life great.

Choosing to be positive is a conscious choice I make daily so I can keep my soul unpolluted by judgment and bitterness. When I have a rough day at work, I am thankful I have a job that provides for my family. Positivity is about perspective.

I surround myself with other positive people so that their cheerful attitude rubs off on me. Keeping company with optimistic friends encourages me to seek out the good in times when I want to have a pity party.

Today, I choose to be grateful for what I have. I fill myself with cheer by rejecting every impulse to criticize. I do away with judgment and embrace the code of forgiveness.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. Who is my most optimistic friend?
2. What is going well in my life right now?
3. What are some things I need to see with a different perspective?

I eliminate wasting time searching for things because I know I can find them exactly where they belong. I keep things in their place to reduce clutter and save money by not having to purchase what I already own.

My productivity level increases when I am able to focus on my work and my priorities in an environment free from chaos. I am able to get more work done in less time, allowing me to free my time to spend on more important things like family.

Clutter is absent from my life; instead, I am surrounded by peace and serenity. I am able to set personal goals and achieve them because I am in control of my environment.

Organization helps me succeed. I seldom have to stop my work to look for an item or wonder where my tools are. My concentration improves as I devote more uninterrupted time to my thoughts.

My life is free from stress when I know where things belong. Peace fills my soul when I look across my clean house, organized desk, and neat car.

I am organized because I value the things I own. The extra time that it takes every day to put things back in their place is worth my peace of mind.

Today, I reclaim order in my life. I choose to honor myself by giving the gift of an organized space.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What areas of my life could use more organization?
2. How do I feel when my space is organized?
3. What steps can I take today to improve my organization?

One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is learning to master the art of self-discipline. Learning how to tell yourself no is an important step to become a stronger, wiser and more mature person.

While practicing self-discipline isn’t easy, there are many benefits to mastering this art of personal control:

Self-discipline can help you achieve your goals and realize your dreams. Many times, achieving the goals you set for yourself requires you to sacrifice time, money and energy you might prefer to spend on other things. Are you willing to have this dedication??

Self-discipline helps you get more done. By cutting out time wasters in your day, you can accomplish more every day and reach your goal sooner. Without the self-discipline to stick to a task, you can be easily distracted by less important details. Are you willing to remove these distractions?

Self-discipline helps you have greater focus. By shutting out the things that take you away from your work, you can focus on what is most important. You can’t say yes to everything and everyone; you must be able to focus on one thing at a time and do it well.

Focus is nearly impossible to achieve without self-discipline, and goals are nearly impossible to achieve without focus. Are you willing to focus intensely on your goals?

The keys to self-discipline are simple. If you make a commitment to someone, keep it. If you make a commitment to yourself, guard it with your life!

If you break a commitment to yourself, remember that you are human. You need to prioritize your commitments to yourself in the same way you prioritize other people’s needs.

Part of self-discipline is self-respect. In order to live the life you truly desire, you need to care for yourself properly.

Respect every part of yourself:

Respect your body. Pay attention to the signals your body sends you. We’re masterfully created, and your body will tell you when something is out of balance. Listen to the signals and treat yourself with VIP handling to be the strongest and most productive you can be!

Consider adding exercise or yoga to your daily routine to help you achieve balance in your body and mind.

Nurture your mind by filling it with positive, engaging information.

Read books for the sheer joy of learning.

Engage in meaningful discussions with people of all backgrounds and philosophies.

Avoid negative people and conversations.

Listen to joyful, uplifting music instead of letting the television flood your mind with commercialism and negativity.

Respect the spiritual part of yourself. It’s important to feel connected to something larger than you are. Connect with your Creator by meditating, praying or spending time in nature.

Attend worship services at a local church, if that’s part of your belief system.

Allow the spiritual side of yourself to become stronger and more important to you.

Base decisions on the greater good rather than simply what feels good at the time.

Respect your physical health. Taking good care of your health requires self-discipline. Your body will help you accomplish amazing things if you treat it properly!

Eat a healthy diet.

Get plenty of rest and exercise.

Strive to maintain a healthy weight.

Refuse to smoke.

Avoid over indulging in caffeine or alcohol.

Respect your time. This includes your work time, family time, playtime and personal time. Make space in your life for every area. Schedule family time and alone time just as you do work time and other obligations.

By adding everything to your written agenda, you create a priority within yourself and self-discipline helps you stick to your priorities.

If you want to live your life to the fullest and achieve your goals, self-discipline is a must. Learning how to control your impulses and make strong decisions is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Self-discipline can bring you the life you always wanted.

The Law of Attraction has intrigue more people than ever. So what is the Law of Attraction and how can it benefit you? It’s actually a quite simple concept. If you focus on the positive, you’ll attract the positive. If you focus on the negative, you’ll attract the negative. Because of its simplicity, some people think this is utterly ridiculous, yet the Law of Attraction has been proven by countless people around the world throughout the ages. If you have an open mind and are willing to give it a try, you can live the life of your dreams. Here are some simple tips and suggestions you can use to live the Law of Attraction:

Rid yourself of negative thoughts and feelings. Negativity will ultimately drive away the positive things you deserve, so you must learn how to erase your mind of anything negative. Quite honestly, this will require some practice, but it’s worth it!

For example, if you find yourself standing in a long line and complaining about it, stop complaining and be thankful that you’re well enough to stand in that line.

If you’re five dollars short to purchase something and wishing you weren’t so poor, turn that around to be thankful you have any money at all.

After you consciously do this enough times, it will become second nature. The more you focus on positive things, the more positive things you’ll receive and vice versa.

Surround yourself with those who think the same. Plain and simple, this means to hang out with positive people. If you spend enough time surrounded by negative people, you’ll begin to complain, whine, and sulk over meaningless things, too.

Is there someone in your life that you admire because of his or her optimistic outlook? Then that person is someone you’ll want to spend quality time with.

Engulf yourself in their happiness and positive karma, and you’ll soon be upbeat and positive, too!

Visualize what the future holds for you. We all hold hopes and dreams for our future. Whether we want a better job, a bigger house, a new car, or more money, we all wish and daydream for something.

Next time you daydream about that new house, actually visualize yourself in the house. Imagine exactly what the house looks like, your family watching television in the living room, and you making their favorite dish in the kitchen.

Visualization sends a positive signal out to the universe. If you practice it consistently, you’ll be rewarded with what you desire.

Learn to give thanks. Whether or not you realize it, you have much to be thankful for. It’s extremely important that you take some quiet time to give thanks for all that has been given to you.

Truly search your soul and list everything you’re grateful for. Don’t do this haphazardly! Practice this each and every day, usually upon rising in the morning. As you keep doing this, you’ll discover that you’re receiving more and more to be thankful for.

The principles surrounding the Law of Attraction are quite straightforward. To live the Law of Attraction, you just need an open mind, a willing spirit and a bit of diligence. With these, you’ll soon be praising the success of the Law of Attraction principles yourself.
