When faced with a wall, I work hard to carve a window.

Photo by ?§m?The journey of life is filled with unexpected turns and sudden surprises. At times I dance through the streets of life without a care in the world. Other times, I come face to face with opposition.

When I am faced with a wall, I have two options: I can stop and give up, or I can find another way out. Because I am determined to finish strong, I refuse to surrender to any barriers.

I am a brilliant individual who is fully capable of figuring out an escape. Instead of waiting silently for someone to rescue me with an offer for help, I think of ways in which I can help myself.

I call out to others for help, but if no one answers, I get out my trusty pocketknife and begin to carve away. When opportunities seem to pass me by, I go out and carve my own opportunities.

The harder I work, the sweeter the victory. Having to fashion my own way makes me more appreciative of the journey. I learn a lot about myself when I see the potential stored within me.

At work, I am courageous enough to talk to my boss about new prospects for me. I launch myself forward in order to discover new routes to success.

Roadblocks are only temporary. There is no such thing as a dead end. My job is to find a detour in order to arrive at my goal, even if it’s via a different route than I originally planned.

Today, I am coming up with new ideas to help me surmount the walls before me. I combine courage and creativity to form the most powerful tool against opposition.

My openness to learning creates endless opportunities.

Photo by VishkidI consider life to be a great adventure! Learning new things brings more exciting experiences my way. Acquiring new knowledge also opens the doors to bigger and better opportunities in my career, and they just keep coming the more I learn.

I make it a point to learn something new every day. I may learn more about the world around me and grow to understand other people and their cultures better. I may improve a current skill or discover a new talent. Or I may learn a better way to do something that makes my life easier.

At work, being willing to learn new things makes me more valuable. In addition, it allows me to meet other people in my field who can bring further knowledge or opportunities my way.

At home, I learn new ways to make my home beautiful, inside and out, which pleases me. I learn new recipes from around the world, which satisfies my appetite for variety in my diet. And I keep up with new ideas in raising my children to be happy, productive, adults.

A constant quest for learning provides me the means to always be moving forward, to conquer new frontiers and achieve new and exciting goals. I cannot imagine life without it! How dull and boring it must be to shove learning aside and stay at a standstill!

Today, I choose to embrace learning and take advantage of every chance I get to bring new opportunities my way.

I seek to expand my comfort zone daily.

Photo by OliverN5I let go of any fears or inhibitions I might have about stepping outside my comfort zone. I think of life as a great adventure and I know that, if I want to fully experience life, I must expand my horizons.

Venturing outside my comfort zone is like going outside my house. Inside my home, I know I am safe and comfortable. Once I go outside that door, I don’t know whom I am destined to meet or what I will experience.

I feel the same way about my comfort zone. However, staying inside it would be much too confining and I would miss the whole world of opportunities that exist outside my comfort zone. So I look forward to the chance to venture out whenever possible!

Each day I purposely find opportunities to expand my comfort zone, even in my everyday routines. I find new routes to and from work. I try new restaurants and experience the cuisine of multiple cultures. I experiment with new hobbies and explore new horizons in my travels.

Living these little adventures every day enables me to feel more comfortable when I want to try something totally foreign to my own world of experiences. Also, when I try new things, I am able to enjoy some great new benefits!

Today, I intend to take advantage of all opportunities to try new experiences that come my way.

Exciting opportunities abundantly appear in my life.

Photo by pasotraspasoNew opportunities surround me every day. All I need to do is recognize them and take the leap of faith. I have an abundance mindset that keeps my mind open to these new opportunities.

Each morning I greet the new day with excitement and anticipation. I give thanks for my blessings and wonder what good this day will bring. When I search for the good in my day, I often find beautiful, hidden gems.

Living in the moment helps me recognize new opportunities. When I focus on the present, regrets of the past and worries of the future simply cannot exist. I explore all options of the moment in my mind and take decisive action to seize those opportunities that can benefit me.

My abundance mindset includes a healthy optimism that brings me confidence and helps me get over any hurdles in my path. When challenges arise, I expect that there is a solution and I seek it out. I inevitably find it and continue happily toward my goal.

Today, “Seize the day!” is my mantra. My plan is to keep an eye out for those opportunities that I know, without a doubt, will appear and then go for them with all the gusto I’ve got!

Fear is no match for my strong spirit and will.

Photo by h.koppdelaneyMy will and my spirit are stronger than any dart of fear aimed in my direction. When disappointment strikes, I remain confident in myself because I am certain that great success is within my reach.

Though fear may relentlessly try to come against me, my strong will helps me reject fear over and over again. I carry on in my journey with a positive attitude because my spirit is too strong to be broken. I dance through the streets of my destiny to the melody of joy, thanks to the invincible spirit within me.

I can accomplish anything I set my mind to when I am determined. I have written down my goals and my vision in order to stay on track. Nothing can stand in my way when I have a plan and an unyielding will.

Having a vision is like a telescope that magnifies my opportunities and places the barriers in perspective. When I look at the bigger picture, I realize that the obstacles I may face are nothing in comparison to the wisdom I will gain.

My spirit is fearless in the midst of new endeavors. Armed with courage, I am capable of charting new experiences for myself. My strong will and audacious spirit propel me to action even when I hesitate.

Today, I am fearless in the face of the unknown. I choose to replace discouragement with renewed strength and a desire to work harder in order to achieve more than I ever imagined.
